If your new to sla (and the Sla mailing list) you may be confused by references to The TRUTH.:
The sla TRUTH strictly speaking is the Nightfall writers bible and as such (for reasons of commercial security) is not general available.
Ok you can try writing to Tim at nightfall and saying
" Tim please can I have a copy of the truth. I promise I will be really good and not show it round my friends or put it on the internet. In fact I promise to print it out on rice paper and eat it the moment I've read it and then delete the file."
It explains the origins and nature of the world of progress and what is going on in the bigger scheme of things.
However as a SLA ref chances are you will want to consider these things, and you may find it useful in planning BPN's and campaigns to have a 'truth' for your little world of progress(YLWOP)
