Now tell me about this run in with Dark Night.
Took the Fen into down town to give is a good bounce round, The 3rd eye team suggested a place they could get some good aireal shots.
No problem.Then we turned into Aster street. Sector 87 and this artic pulled out in front of me. I'm telling you if it wasn't for that ram shape then I'd have been in real trouble. The breaks kicked in hard, but the rain left me aqua-planing. The 0204 just cut through the side of the artic like it was made of aluminum or something.
Well I don't think they were expecing me to go through it, cos it took them a while to regroup. Unfortunatly they'd droped one of the small residential blocks in that area across the road so there was no way through. They had some kind of jammer going as well cos the Tac com cut out.
It was a bit hairy for a while. Big Man.
Still its got all the nerves working again.
I counted 4 one with the big 17mm thing, one driving the artic, who I think got away, and 2 others with some type of assault rifle...Those 2 died when I reversed into the wall. The big guy with the 17mm was under the 0204 when it rolled on its way back through the articCall me paranoid but I think they knew I was coming and they seemed to be after me.
After all the 3rd eye was directly above me and they didn't take even a pot shot at that.
Also, thinking about it, the camera crew must have been able to see the artic and the collapse building before I got into Aster street.
Benefit of the doubt maybe the jammer was activated before they could warn me.
Less charitably it was a set up. We were talking on the third eye frequency though. Which is kind of worrying if it was a set up.
I suppose I'll never know.
