I was walking past PP when I saw the thing in the window. And it was
just too damn sexy to ignore.
Next thing I know I'm inside the place,
and the sales man is at my shoulder withering on about heads up display
and thrust packs. Hell if I heard half of what he said I'd be surprised.
I just kept looking at the thing.
Then he popped the armour and I saw the thickness of it and I just
looked at him and said. "That's not going to stop anything."
He just grinned at me like he had heard it all before and took me to the
back of the show room. He gave me a chunk of the ceramic, same thickness
and everything.
"This is what its made out." He said
"Yeap." I said.
"Shoot it." He said, putting it on this stand.
I took out my 603 and he just laughed. "No son the big gun. And use the biggest shot you've got."
So I got out the blitzer. Put a HEAP in the chamber. Held it in both hand, cos I still have a problem with the kick, and prayed there was no one on the other side of the wall... and pulled the trigger.
Not a scratch. And it took. 3 bullets to get through it. All on the same
spot.
I just looked at the guy and he KNEW he'd got a sale.
Looks like I'm on kibble for the next few week.
