GA Heavy Military-specification Vehicle (HumVee)
GA

Extract from Product Review in Mort Time

Its a big jeep.

A tad slower and not a nippy. The water tight front cabin and engine system is a nice touch on Mort, where going paddling is a common problem. The soft top however means any one not it the cab is going to get wet.

Not a problem.

One of the optional extras is a hard top for that soft top. And that's just one of the 'extras'.

The optional extras book is a phone directory thick. On its own it weights an impressive 3lb! (Yeap we weighed it) We spent all day going through it and by the time we had finished adding in the bits we liked we were and more than doubled the cost of the vehicle!

GA state 'the only limit is your imagination'. More like your bank balance:)

To drive its nothing special. Its not got the 'umph' of a GA jeep, (but if you drive the jeep in to 2m of water you'd better be able to swim.) But its good and dependable. Mechanically nice and sound and takes quite a lot of bouncing and bashing through the rougher parts of Mort. 20kph faster at top speed than an battle taxi might be significant some days. And you are sitting higher than a 'car', which means you can see the cause of the traffic jam you are in - unlike all the others stuck in it. :)

If you are a big squad that can't afford an APC this isn't bad alternative.
Many of the options are cute. Including the com array and extra armour plating for the passenger cabin. This upgrade pushes it to the same stopping power as an APC, thought this version rides a bit low on the suspension to say the least.

So if you want something like the Big brother but that you can park this may be worth a look.

With all those extras its hard to make up your mind. Be ruthless in your choices or the squad financier will have you doing blacks for a month to pay for it.
