The Hotline Showdown

With the introduction of the Hotline 10mm round in 900SD a new era for operatives wanting live captures began. From the start though there has been a problem. Hotline rounds have to be hand loaded into a 10mm pistol, no more than one hotline round can be in the gun to avoid the first round cooking off others in the magazine. This year see's GA and FEN release their solutions for operatives who wish to capture more than one target alive.

FEN 310

The Fen is a six-shot wheelgun, similar in design to BLA's Blitzer. A double action revolver the 310 has a slower rate of fire than its 10mm brother the 603 and no auto fire capability. With its fully insulated cylinder the 310's big advantage is operatives can load all six chambers with hotline rounds safely and its longer barrel gives the 310 a slightly better range than its established brother. The 310 has full ceramic casing, barrel and moulded grip. FEN is already marketing a range of accessories for the 310 including speed loaders and custom grips.

Cal 10mm
ROF 1
Recoil3
Range 15m
Weight 0.5kg
Cost 200c
Black Market cost 5,000u

(Speedloaders allow the character to reload the weapon as if he were reloading an automatic, otherwise the cylinders have to be loaded individually. Speedloaders cost the same as magazines and are available from any FEN supplier.
Custom grips don't have a game effect other than making the weapon more comfortable in the users hand and/or look better - feel free to charge however much you wish to gouge your SLAOp's for. The work takes an hour and the SLAOp needs to visit a FEN retail outlet. Other accessories include 'Spark-shower', 'Edge light', Custom Detailing and Surface with 'Gore-shield' and 'Scuff-not' Treatments available. The 310 cannot fit a silencer)

GA 84 'Pepperbox'

GA's entry is a smaller four barrel break action Derringer style weapon. Designed as a close in or personal backup weapon the '84 lacks sights. The barrels are set on a two by two basis with a single pull-though style trigger that allows an operative to fire one or all of the weapons barrels at once. This is a useful feature when the Pepperbox is being used as a holdout gun with other 10mm rounds. However it does require some practise not to pull through on the first shot and accidentally fire all the barrels at once. The double action hammer means operatives do not have to cock the weapon and mean that the moving parts of the Pepperbox could be sealed within the casing making the weapon durable and moisture resistant. Rounds need to be loaded singly into each barrel.

Type 84

Clip 4
Cal 10mm
ROF 4/1
Recoil6/4
Range 10m
Weight 0.4kg
Cost 150c
Black Market cost 3,500u

(I suggest that when all four barrels are fired the character makes a single to hit roll as normal and if the target is hit then damage is dealt from all 4 rounds as the BLA446M Derringer)
