Scary sight. So we called in to Station-Analysis, checked what we should do and they said 'fucking open fire', so we did.
Left a bit of a mess and they were damn hard to kill, a lot harder than the dummies at Meny.
Next thing we know, 3rd Eye is ringing us up and telling us that we're number 10 in the squad rankings, seemed the public loved us.

"We're all fresh out of Meny, well, all of us, except the squad leader, Freedom. He's been around a bit and had a few squads. He's SCL 6C.
Yeah, thats him. Hmm, impressive background. How come he's not with KATN anymore. Oh, I see.
Well anyway. We're fresh out of Meny so we took a Blue BPN in Downtown sector 42. Clean up after a fucking street party in honour of some ebon or another. What was his name? William Hannon I think. No shit!
Yeah well, we'd cleaned this street up, moved a few drunks and tramps out of the road and generally been nice to everyone when Freedom just falls down in front of this building and starts screaming.
The Medic goes over but couldn't get him to stop and when our Brain Waster went over he started swaying and saying how things didn't feel right.
Well, I pick up movement on my motion scanner, coming from the building so we form round Freedom and drag him away. Good job too because the buildings doors flew open and these carrien come out.
I uplink to SLA-NET and ask for a camera crew and assitance, and our Death Squader, Dylan checks with Station-Analysis, about what to do since Freedom out-of-action.
That O'Crow guy arrives within seconds and we wade into the carrien. They were packing serious heat and some had what appeared to be electronic equipment implanted in them.
The fight doesn't last two long, not with the 7 of us blasting at them. When they stopped coming the DS's got a bit carried away and blew the shit out of the building with their MAL's. Seemed to do some good though because Freedom stopped screaming.

"When the call came in over SLA-NET, I folded down to the sector immediately. I got there just before the TV crew arrived and managed to cloak myself in Ebb. I entered the building from which the carrien were coming and proceeded to search it.
It was a tower block of flats, which judging by the style of TV's, has been un-occupied for roughly 7 years.
In several of the apartments in higher levels, there were crates of weaponry and ammo, matching those found on the bodies of the carrien.
Upon reaching the top level I saw a hideous site of an ebon linked to a generator. The ebons body had been ripped open and his rib cage broken and widened to create a fold gateway.
It was obvious that he was nearly dead and only being sustained by the power from the generator, so I turned it off. The fold gateway closed immediately as I did this.
Around the room were several pieces of cybernetic implants, and again more weapons and ammo.
I probed the remenants of the ebons mind and discovered he was one of two ebons to go missing in Cannibal Sector 2 four weeks ago. His mind also showed me that the other ebon is being used for a similar purpose and that the rival company abusing my race is Harbinger.

"Harbinger would appear to be a new rival company, recently set up in CS2 and specialising in cybernetic modification of carrien.
While this is currently of minor concern, they have kidnapped several ebons from SLA Industrie squads and have used their bodies to create a fold gateway network, believed to stretch across Mort.
Immediate closure of this rival company is advised.
