Behind the Scenes: A Brain Waster called Drug Nun has been affected by a Dark Night feral ebon using the Thought Plant 8 power. Her memories have been re-written, and she believes that she is on an undercover mission for Cloak Division terminating a list of Darknight infiltrators (all her victims have in fact been members of the current graduating year from Meny). The plan would have worked perfectly if it weren't, ironically, for her academy training. Drug Nun has left reports (coded and unsigned, according to security protocols) in Cloak Division dead-letter drops, keeping them apprised of her progress in eliminating the 'traitors'. Naturally, Cloak were confused by this, and so - when they were contacted - were the Department of Ebon. The two departments agreed between them that the DoE would issue a BPN to reduce the visibility of the op. Both departments are adamant that they want Drug Nun brought in alive, and the Ops will get their bonus slashed radically if they fail to do that. Assuming Drug Nun IS brought in alive, DoE Ebons will get the story direct from her brain extrapolate what happened, and a new BPN will be issued:

Locate and terminate Darknight operative codenamed Mindbender.
Both Cloak and the DoE are getting antsy about this one - the idea of a saboteur turning their own agents against them is a nasty thought - but they don't want to risk alerting Mindbender by suddenly increasing their own activity level. Instead, they issue a BPN direct to the Ops to track him down. Since everyone's so twitchy, reasonable requests for support or equipment loans will probably be honoured at the GM's discretion.
Mindbender is working out of the Lower Downtown area, assuming correctly that he will garner less attention there. Finding him will not be easy, and methodology should be tailored to the Op team's strengths; the default easiest way is to backtrack Drug Nun's movements during the period in which she was captured and track him from there.
Mindbender, incidentally, is wearing an experimental suit of Darknight Glyph armour. Based on the 01000.DN model, it has Glyphs implanted in it to negate the need for Glyph cards. If the Ops can bring this back in reasonable condition for study, a cash award would be in order.
