Operative Hope U. Worry Truly believes that Mr. Slayer speaks to him every morning.
Some of the information gained in these "conversations" have no basis in truth, and no connection with the head office can be confirmed, however some details of what Hope says are very true, and under heavy restraint he still maintains he speaks to Mr. Slayer every morning on the phone. These conversations are the basis of his strong belief that SLA Industries is the basis of all life in the universe.
Results of intense testing prove inconclusive, Operative Hope has been granted active status on Mort as further observation in the field is needed.

Dear Mrs. Brent,

WHY, I want to be a SLA Operative.

I was the second born child, my elder sister by 2 years ran off with a gang member when I was only 6. I think she was just trying to avoid mother's constant whining and complaining about always wanting to be like those people on her favorite show 'Killing Time'. She never did like SLA Industries, and for that, I can't forgive her. I signed up for a Special Jr office Internship the day I turned 10.

I got to get away from her during the day, and learn more about my favorite things, SLA products, bureaucracy methods, required paperwork, reporting and Operative monitoring. I got the chip when I was twelve because I overheard my mom say something BAD about my friend Mr. Slayer and I wanted to prove to her just how much I loved Mr. Slayer and hated her for saying those bad things.

They brought me in for chip assignment when I called and asked to talk to Mr. Slayer about how much my mom hated him. I was thrilled! They put me right through to him directly. He said how much he understood me, and told me that I would make a first class operative for SLA. They said I never had to go home again, and could stay in the class dorms

I was told later that my mother was brought in for 're-assignment' now that she had completed the task of raising me. I hadn't given her a second thought until then, but I was truly happy she found happiness in Mr. Slayer after all those years.

Now I get to talk with Mr. Slayer every morning, he's the best friend any boy could have.

I want to be a SLA Operative so Mr. Slayer will be proud of me.
