And one day the rain just stopped

Intruder stands at the window. He can feel something happening, some disturbance, some where in suburbia. He frowns feeling the wave approach, a wind like sensation running through the reality.
It feels some how.. Familiar... The woman what came to him the night Mr Slayer's plan to capture the Exeter failed. The night Karma tower fell. It has the same tone. It eases the pain in his soul. He smiles slightly to himself and opens the door, stepping out onto the veranda.
Something is happening. There is movement on the plaza far below, and... He turns his head to the sky. His face is dry.

The rain has stopped.
Intruder smiles.

He turns back into the building. Mr Slayer paces the room looking worried.
"Where the fuck is Teeth?" He fumes softly.
"Well my guess is that he has left us to face the music." Intruder observes.
"He wouldn't dare, We have a deal."
Intruder looks out of the window. The grey clouds are lightening to a pale white. He smiles to himself "I don't think your deal was worth the paper it was printed on." He responds.
Mr Slayer glares at him.
Intruder picks up his jacket.
"What's gotten into you?" Slayer asks.
Intruder looks at him, for a brief second he contemplates telling him and then he stops and just smiles.
"I'm going to go out for a walk. You know for once I think its going to be a nice day." He heads for the door.
Mr Slayer looks towards the window. Panic falls onto his expression. He runs to it, placing his hand against the glass.
"But....."
The clouds begin to part, a shaft of sun light hitting the remains of Salvation tower.
He turns but the door is swinging closed.
"Get back here!"
There is no response.
