SOFT COMPANY:INDUSTRIAL CARNAGE
STATUS: ACTIVE
TYPE:COMBATANT
THREAT:HIGHLY DANGEROUS
ASSESSMENT: A soft company that is either a subsidiary of Thresher Incorporated or has gained direct backing from them mostly comprised of young males. Industrial Carnage has so far restricted its operations to the Downtown Sectors and no conclusive evidence has yet been brought forward to warn of raids into Suburbia or Mort Central. All confirmed sightings of Industrial Carnage personnel are associated with fire-fights between them and street gangs, props, DarkNight mercenaries and other Soft companies. Industrial Carnage has been linked with the total destruction of Skin Traders ‘PlayTime’ and ‘Joy’, pharmaceutical Soft Company ‘Velvet Mist’ and several small street gangs. It has yet to make any aggressive unprovoked attack against SLA Industries apart from the considerable property damage ensued from their clashes with the above parties. Station Analysis recommends all BPNs relating to Industrial Carnage should be Investigation only until their operational directives are known.
HISTORY: The initial sightings of the Industrial Carnage were their attacks against the Skin Trade. At this point their were only wearing captured or illegally bought SLA armour and weaponry. One Industrial Carnage recruits was identified as wearing Powercell armour previously warn by Durant of the SLA Operative Squad ‘Hydra’ raising speculation it was them responsible for Team Hydras disappearance. From this point higher and higher concentration of Thresher armour types were reported in their unit. Industrial Carnage visible operations were initially frequent, but they have been reducing in number until their sightings are rare. It is believed they are gathering strength for a ‘big push’ or Thresher are in the process of pulling their team out of Mort.

NOTE: there is circumstantial evidence that points Industrial Carnage involvement in the raid against a Karma factory in Lower Sectors downtown.

RAID AGAINST KARMA FACTORY.

A minor Karma factory came under assault from an unknown heavily armed force. The attackers gained entry into the control centre of the factory but the security forces prevented their progress into the manufacturing works. After a brief struggle the security forces with reinforcements called in managed to eject the force from the complex with only minor casualties. On exciting the plant the attackers took out their aggression on what lay at hand, namely the control centre and outlying security positions they had passed. Each of these were completely destroyed and not the complex itself that was obviously their target. Remnants of armour shot off the targets bare similar paintwork as that used by Industrial Carnage today.

SLA OPERATIVE SQUAD NAME:HYDRA

STATUS:INACTIVE/DESTROYED

A highly successful SLA Operative Team, several of who’s members were gaining sponsorship deals. They often employed the practice of replacing each squad member killed with two new recruits, and had an operational strength of 12 members before their disappearance. They have appeared on £rd eye news on numerous occasions enjoying vicious hand-to-hand combat and fire-fights with rival companies. They accepted a BPN to tackle the growing Skin Trade that were threatening the security of Suburbia and Mort Central. After an initial success all communication with Team Hydra ceased. An investigation was launched by Squad ‘Twisted Samurai’ who discovered armour and weaponry used and personalised by Hydra were turning up on the black market and been used illegally by street gangs and soft companies. This led to the conclusion the promising Squad Hydra had been attacked and destroyed by retaliating owners of the Skin Trade or other soft companies working in the area. Other suspects included ‘Industrial Carnage’, ‘Torment’ and ‘Ignition’.
