New from DWT (Diversified Weapons Technologies), comes Happy Fun-ball.
This is the ideal anti-personnel device for urban operations, especially house-to-house combat. Happy Fun-ball is a 10cm sphere designed to deny the enemy access to a specified area.
When activated, a magnetic field expands to a 10m spherical area. When the field expands, it takes with it, more than 2000 mono-filament leads. The leads extend to a length of 9m in all directions, except for the base. Happy Fun-ball is weighted as to always stop on it's base even when thrown or rolled. The mono-filament leads will slice and dice almost anything that contacts them.
A standard battery cell will keep the field active for 6 hours before it needs to be recharged or replaced. Also, the magnetic field is low enough as not to disrupt electronic systems and sensors.
Once you're ready to retrieve it, once the field is deactivated, the filaments retract themselves on a spring-loaded spool.

The standard item comes with a remote control box that allows the device be activated or deactivated. Also, Happy Fun-ball comes with an activation timer which can be set from 0-30 seconds. For an additional fee, your Happy Fun-ball can be fitted with an active or passive sensor device. Also available is a rotating base for the "cuisinart effect" within the kill zone.
