The dark driver system.

Consisting of a series of sensors on the front of the vehicle and a LC screen attached to the inside of the windscreen, the dark driver system allows the driver to cope with a variety of visibility problems down to complete darkness.

Data form the UV, IR and range sensors are combined by the systems AI and used to construct a model of the 'outside'. Using the position of the drivers view point (determined from a sensor warn by the driver), the AI sends this data to the LC screen to produces a series of outlines which over lay the view of the driver and highlight features of the environment out side.

Note Because of the accuracy of this over lay the data on screen is useless to any one not in the drivers position. A&A I are currently developing a more advanced model using polarized filters too allow both the drive and 'shot gun' to benefit form this data.

Additional sensors types are also available, as is an interface for the Navi map system, the oyster (allowing the windscreen to be used as a large display), and a TV mode.

Note to quote our CEO "A&A I accept no responsibility for idiots watching the TV or surfing the cynet when they should have been looking at the road."
